Giannis Kotsikos established a legacy of absolute dominance in Greek sport shooting throughout the 1990s. His career is defined by remarkable consistency at the highest level, highlighted by a streak of eight consecutive National Championship titles: four in the Junior category (1992–1995) followed immediately by another four in the Men’s category (1996–1999).
Alongside his domestic titles, Kotsikos represented Greece internationally with top-tier performances, including an 11th-place finish at the World Championship in Cyprus and a 2nd-place podium at the Grand Prix D'Europe in Athens. His precision on the range reached historic heights in 1997, setting a new national record with a 122/125 score that remains a benchmark in the sport.
