ISSF Junior World Championship Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun Suhl (Germany)

Great international distinctions for Greek shooting were recorded at the 2026 World Junior Championship, held in Suhl, Germany, from June 16 to 26, confirming the high level of our athletes on a global scale.

Once again, Greek shooting shone through our young shooters, at both team and individual levels.

Warm congratulations for:

• 4th place for the Men's Junior National Team, featuring Fotis Baxevanakis, Nikiforos Manousakis, and Efrem Nikolantonakis, who delivered an outstanding performance in the Skeet team event. The trio managed to secure 4th place worldwide with a total score of 337/375, coming just a breath away from the medal podium.
• 8th place for Anna-Maria Markantonaki in the Women's Junior Skeet event. Anna-Maria secured her ticket to the grand final and concluded her performance in eighth place among the top female shooters on the planet.

Many congratulations to SKOE (Hellenic Shooting Federation) and the entire Greek delegation: coach Giorgos Salavantakis, sports psychologist Nektarios Stavrou, and physiotherapist Panagiotis Pariotakis, for the National Team's presence in such a prestigious event.
