Biography:

From Hunting Roots to European Gold

Born in 2007, Fotis Baxevanakis began his connection with shooting through the hunting traditions of Elassona, Greece. His natural precision was officially discovered in 2022 during a visit to the Pyrgetos shooting range, where his exceptional talent for Compak Sporting became immediately apparent.


Since then, Fotis has dominated national competitions, securing numerous gold medals and setting impressive personal bests of 193/200 and 97/100. His rapid ascent led to his selection for the Hellenic National Skeet Team in 2024, where he quickly distinguished himself as one of the top three junior shooters in Greece.


The year 2025 marked his transition to international stardom. As a vital member of the National Team, Fotis secured the Gold Medal at the European Championships in Malakasa (May 2025) and followed it with a Silver Medal at the European Championships in Châteauroux, France (July 2025). With a stellar personal record of 122/125, he has proven to be an Elite Shooting Specialist, representing the future of Olympic Skeet on the global stage.
